How do you get Duo Boons Hades consistently? ›

To get a Duo Boon, you'll need to accept the required Boons for each God. Adding to this, it's helpful to have a Keepsake for one God at max rank, then accept Boons consistenly from one other God. For example, using Zeus' Thunder Signet Keepsake and only accepting Boons from Poseidon.

For each of your actions — Attack, Special, Cast, Dash, and Call — you can only have one Boon active at a time. If you find a second Boon that buffs an action, it will replace the first one.

Duo Boons are less rare than Legendary Boons, but there's still some quirks that you should know about beforehand.

12 Curse Of Longing: Aphrodite & Ares

The Curse Of Longing is the combo Boon players can find, which uses the powers of both the God of War and the Goddess of Love. To activate this, Zag needs to have: Ares: Curse of Agony or Curse of Pain. Aphrodite: Heartbreak Strike, Heartbreak Flourish, Crush Shot, or Passion Dash.

But his strongest boon has got to be Hydraulic Might, which dramatically increases your damage for the first few seconds of each encounter - enough to often end the fight before the effect even expires.

Duo Boons are not offered, although the gods may still offer to exchange already obtained boons. Using the fully charged call of the spurned god triggers an aggressive voice line from that god to Zagreus, but this has no other implication otherwise.

There are two types of boons: Boons that slot directly into your attack, special, cast, dash, or aid slot, and boons that don't take up a specific slot. You can have as many of the latter as you like, but of the boons that require a slot, you can only have one per slot.

To get this trophy, once you've found yourself a Legendary Boon, you'll need to "Purge" it. There is a store in the game called the "Pool of Purging" that allows you to sell Boons you've accumulated. When you access it, 3 of your Boons at random will be chosen and you can sell any or all of them.

How do you trigger favors in Hades? ›

Note that getting the favor requirement is unlocked by talking to Gods in the first room. Other rooms will also trigger conversations, but only when you pick up a boon from certain good for the first time. Unlocking is also done by talking to them after completing their favor.
